Anne, please introduce yourself. Who are you? What are your doing?

My name is Anne. I am 27 years old and come from Germany, but I lived in France for 15 years. Currently, I studied fashion journalism and media communication in Berlin and work now for Fashionhelpling as a stylist.

How did you become a professional stylist?

I took the stylist's career by working at the university and at Fashionhelpling. Already at the university I took specific classes and workshops. For instance, I was a stylist at campaign shootings or shootings for our magazines. Ultimately, my passion and my enthusiasm for fashion led me to where I am today.

What do you like the most about your job?

Above all, I like that I can talk to people, and you can build a relatively good relationship with them. And of course I can pursue my passion to fashion.

What skills and talents should you bring to succeed in the profession?

You need to be very sensitive. I believe there are many people for whom the profession of a stylist is new territory, especially for customers who signed up for the first time. Therefore, I try to be as sensitive as possible in consultation and meet their needs. Listening and taking time is one of the most important points.

Where do you find inspiration for your work?

I like to create moodboards and get inspired by surfing in the internet. Websites such as Instagram and Pinterest are a great source.

What is your favorite city and why?

My favorite city is Paris, because the women know how to dress up very well and you can find great unique clothes in hidden boutiques. Berlin is also one of my favorite cities. You can see every kind of style and nowbody judges you or look at you in a weird way. It is free.

Your Style in three words?

Easy, love in details, and casual.

Fashion means...

A mirror of your personality
