Style packing list for a Babymoon - 11 Essentials that should make it in your luggage

  1. Maxi Dresses: These dresses are so versatile they are perfect for touring around major cities, cruising the tropics, or just going out for dinner with your partner. Very easy to dress up and or dress down.
  2. Small Purse: You will probably be lugging around a large diaper bag for the next year or more. Carry a small purse while you can!
  3. Haircare Products: Bring your straighener, curling iron, haircare product of choice so you will look extra cute in your photos. This might not be a priority after baby so try to take advantage while you have the time.
  4. Skincare products: If you have a favorite stretch mark cream or lotion, make sure to pack it!
  5. Jewelry: Wear as much jewelry as you can because once your baby arrives, you might not be wearing any as baby like to pull on dangly earrings or dainty necklaces.
  6. Shoes: If you are going on a Babymoon later in your pregnancy, you will definitely want to pack comfortable footwear. Sandals for instance go with a variety of clothing styles and you can walk all day without getting tired legs or feet.
  7. Swimsuit and Cover Up: Chances are where ever you will go, there will be a pool. Being in a pool while pregnant is amazing! However, it is very uncomfortable to wiggle out of clothes while pregnant, so get an easy cover up.
  8. Sunnies and a floppy Hat: You need to protect your eyes! Wether they are fancy brand named sunglasses or random ones, bring at least one. This also goes for a hat.
  9. Suncreen: Keep in mind that your body's pigment-producing cells kick into overdrive during pregnancy, you should definitely use a broad spectrum sunscreen.
  10. Water Bottles: Whereever you go, bring a water bottle with you.You are pregnant now. You will be thirsty and even more because of exploring the surroundings. Don't get dehydrated and prevent yourself by bringing a watter bottle with you.
  11. Pregnancy Magazines & Books: Ideal for the plane, train or in your hotel room. Some hotels even offer pregnancy magazines in the hotel room on arrival.

Probably the best thing you can pack is an upbeat attitude! You may be a bit more tired and walk more slowly that you are used to, but if you are able to focus on spending time with your partner and just enjoying the surroundings it will do wonders for you and your pregnancy.
